Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all Pharmacy Technicians and delivery personnel, ensuring efficient and compliant pharmacy operations.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all services provided, including prescription records and detailed patient profiles.

  • Coordinate the seamless delivery of pharmaceutical services, including the distribution of medications and related products to patients.

  • Ensure the security and proper handling of legend drugs, strictly adhering to all applicable regulatory and legal standards.

  • Actively participate in the pharmacy’s quality assurance program to continuously monitor, maintain, and enhance operational efficiency and safety.

  • Safeguard patient confidentiality by securely managing medication profiles and other sensitive health information in compliance with privacy laws.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization to support broader company goals and initiatives.

  • Conduct daily activities including patient consultations, verifying prescription accuracy, and performing thorough drug utilization reviews to optimize patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of an active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio.

  • Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, demonstrating compliance with all professional regulations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.

  • At least one year of practical pharmacy experience, with a preference for clinical pharmacy settings.

  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities to manage pharmacy operations effectively and guide pharmacy staff.

  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships within a team environment.
