Summary of Responsibilities

Manage and perform both non-sterile and sterile compounding operations with precision and adherence to best practices.

Conduct clinical consultations with healthcare providers and patients to ensure optimal therapy choices, appropriate dosage forms, and effective therapeutic outcomes.

Oversee compliance with all pharmacy accreditations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to maintain high-quality operations.

Ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality production processes that meet the needs of both customers and staff.

Maintain meticulous batch records, master formulation documentation, and quality assurance logs to support regulatory compliance and operational accuracy.

Research, develop, and refine pharmaceutical formulations focusing on stability, compatibility, and bioavailability to optimize patient care.

Supervise compounding technicians, fostering continuous education and professional development within the team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor regulatory changes and provide feedback to accrediting bodies on new or revised standards and requirements.

Implement and oversee monitoring systems, improvement strategies, and accountability measures to enhance production management and operational efficiency.

Ensure strict adherence to DEA regulations and uphold pharmacy operational standards across all activities.

Experience, Qualifications & Education

Earned a PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
-
Hold a valid and current Pharmacist License in the state of Arkansas, in good standing.

Possess a minimum of one year of compounding experience, with required expertise in non-sterile compounding and preferred experience in sterile compounding.

Familiarity with compounding software is highly desirable.
