About the Role
Position: Clinical Pharmacist
Schedule:

Weekends: 1 in every 8-week rotation
-
Shifts: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week

Daytime Hours: Vary between 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, with later shifts starting at 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:30 AM

Rotational Vacation Coverage: Evening shifts (11:30 AM – 10:00 PM)
Responsibilities:

Manage disease states and chemotherapy toxicities following hospital policies and clinical guidelines.

Provide pharmacokinetic services and ensure safe, cost-effective, and evidence-based medication use.

Participate in inpatient rounding shifts and staff the ambulatory infusion center.

Verify chemotherapy, dispense medications, and collaborate with oncologists, midlevel providers, and infusion center nurses.
Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.

Active Illinois State Registered Pharmacist license.

Preferred: Completion of a pharmacy residency or equivalent hospital experience, with a background in oncology pharmacy.
