Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions, ensuring professional and courteous service.

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.

• Order, stock, and manage pharmacy inventory, including cycle counts and expired items.

• Maintain and audit pharmacy records and ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, state/federal laws).

• Lead and support pharmacy technicians and interns.

• Support clinical programs such as immunizations and other patient care services.

• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and company standards within the pharmacy.

• Communicate effectively with the Pharmacy Manager regarding operations or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Doctorate preferred).

• Active, valid Pharmacy License in the state of operation.

• Minimum 3 years pharmacy experience.

• Immunization certification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, pharmacy law, inventory systems, and customer service.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Bilingual skills are a plus, based on location.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.

• Extended periods of standing and walking; some bending and twisting.

• Exposure to a typical retail environment with varying temperatures.
