About the Job
Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team and help deliver exceptional patient care and pharmacy services. In this role, you’ll provide medication counseling with empathy, ensure accurate dispensing, support clinical services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing, and assist in optimizing pharmacy operations. You’ll also help lead a positive patient experience and support overall pharmacy performance and team development.

Operations

Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations

Conduct clinical services (e.g., immunizations, wellness checks, disease management)

Support workflow efficiency, inventory control, and insurance claim processing

Collaborate with healthcare providers and assist with audit/compliance requirements
Leadership & Team Support

Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance support

Motivate team members and promote a collaborative work culture

Professional Development

Stay current on pharmacy practices, certifications, and company training

Qualifications
Basic
-
BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited institution

Active pharmacist license in the applicable state(s)

Strong knowledge of prescription dispensing and controlled substance regulations

Certified Immunizer or willingness to certify within 90 days of hire
Preferred
-
At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, including dispensing, compliance, operations, and insurance processing
