What You’ll Do

  • Accurately interpret and verify prescriptions to ensure safe and effective medication use

  • Review medication orders for proper dosing, scheduling, interactions, contraindications, and allergies

  • Communicate professionally with veterinarians, pet parents, and clinic staff as needed

  • Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns to maintain high performance and accuracy

  • Maintain detailed and compliant records in accordance with pharmacy policies, state, and federal regulations

  • Ensure operational excellence, including compliance, performance standards, and safety protocols

  • Take on additional assignments or responsibilities as needed

  • Occasional travel may be required


What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution

  • Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Pennsylvania (additional state licensure is a plus)

  • Strong customer service skills and exceptional attention to detail

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities

  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
