What You’ll Do

Interpret and verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail.

Review prescriber medication orders for correct dosing, scheduling, allergies, drug interactions, and potential incompatibilities.

Communicate effectively with veterinarians, their teams, and pet parents as needed.

Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and interns, providing training and coaching as necessary.

Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with federal and state legal requirements and pharmacy policies.

Uphold operational standards including performance metrics, safety, and compliance.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Travel may be required for the position.
What You’ll Need
-
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).

Active pharmacist license in Kentucky (in good standing) and other states or credentials as needed.

Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage and guide a team.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
