Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that medication doses are accurately prescribed based on diagnosis, weight, allergies, and potential drug interactions.
Efficiently enter and process medication orders.
Guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of medications.
Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols when preparing sterile products.
Complete the annual aseptic technique certification with a score of at least 90%.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy.
Licensing: Registered Pharmacist (RPh) certification from the State of Texas (required).
Experience: 2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience (pediatric experience preferred).
Skills: Proficiency in EPIC, aseptic technique, and sterile product compounding.

Location: Austin, TX 78717
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Variable shifts (06:30 AM – 07:00 PM), with possible night shifts (06:30 PM – 07:00 AM). 40 hours per week.
