Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescriptions, verifying dosages, drug interactions, and patient histories.

Provide compassionate counseling to patients regarding medication use, potential side effects, and proper storage.

Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management, ordering medications, and ensuring availability.

Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure seamless patient care.

Monitor controlled substances, maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Administer immunizations and vaccinations, as permitted by Arizona law.

Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, and initiatives to improve pharmacy performance.

Stay updated on developments in pharmacology and best practices in retail pharmacy.
Qualifications:
-
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program.

Active and unrestricted Arizona Pharmacist License.

1–3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred (new grads with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply).

Immunization certification required (or willingness to obtain).

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and insurance processing.
Schedule & Work Environment:

Retail Hours: Monday to Saturday (exact schedule varies), including evenings and weekends.

Full-time, 40+ hours per week.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually ($52.00 – $62.00 per hour), depending on experience.
