Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications to ensure the correct patient, dose, and route of administration.

  • Conduct drug utilization reviews for all medications dispensed.

  • Provide patient care services to enhance the patient experience, including immunizations, patient consultations, medication therapy management, and resolving patient concerns.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

  • Supervise pharmacy interns, technicians, and other staff involved in daily pharmacy operations.

  • Assist with inventory management, including controlled substances, proper storage, record-keeping, and handling recalled or expired medications.

  • Adhere to state and federal pharmacy regulations and procedures.

  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed.

  • Undertake additional duties to improve patient care and increase operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • A bachelor’s or doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.

  • Current standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

  • Active certifications in immunizations and CPR (preferred).

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Availability to work weekends and holidays (on a rotating schedule).

  • Willingness to pursue additional licensure and certifications as required.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
