Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, verifying dosages, identifying drug interactions, and reviewing patient histories.

  • Offer clear, compassionate, and informative counseling on medication use, potential side effects, and proper storage.

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations including inventory control, procurement, and ensuring medication availability.

  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Manage and monitor controlled substances in strict compliance with state and federal laws.

  • Administer immunizations and vaccines in accordance with Texas state regulations.

  • Support quality assurance initiatives, compliance audits, and operational improvements.

  • Stay informed on the latest developments in pharmacology, retail pharmacy trends, and best practices.


Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy.

  • Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License.

  • 1–3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred; recent graduates with strong clinical internship experience are welcome to apply.

  • Valid immunization certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, ethical integrity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and third-party insurance processing.


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Retail pharmacy hours: Monday–Saturday, including some evenings and weekends (schedule may vary).

  • Full-time role with a standard schedule of 40+ hours per week.


Compensation

  • Competitive salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
    (Equivalent to $57.00 – $67.00 per hour, depending on experience)


Interview Process

  1. Initial screening call with TalentLNX.

  2. Zoom interview with the Senior Pharmacy Manager.

  3. Final onsite interview with the Senior Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacy Director.
