Key Responsibilities:

Medication Management & Dispensing: Accurately compound, dispense, and review prescriptions while ensuring strict adherence to substance control and hazardous waste protocols.

Patient & Provider Communication: Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and address any concerns. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and improve patient outcomes.

Staff Supervision & Training: Lead pharmacy staff, provide mentorship to interns, maintain appropriate staffing ratios, and manage community-focused pharmaceutical programs.

Administrative & Compliance Duties: Ensure accurate prescription record-keeping, handle billing and insurance inquiries, and maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Technology & Continuous Improvement: Utilize EMR systems such as Cerner for administrative tasks and engage in ongoing professional development and community outreach efforts.
Qualifications:

Active California Pharmacy License
-
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.

BLS (AHA) Certification

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Retail Pharmacist
