Position Summary: Pharmacist
Compensation:

Salary is based on scheduled hours, with an annualized hourly rate of $68.77.

Additional supplemental pay may be available based on meeting hour requirements and management approval.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Accurately receive and fill prescriptions, providing prompt, professional, and courteous service.
-
Dispense prescribed medications, ensuring precise preparation, packaging, labeling, and storage.

Counsel customers on medication usage, dosage, potential side effects, interactions, and proper storage.
-
Manage inventory — order, stock, verify, and cycle-count prescription and over-the-counter medications.
-
Maintain accurate pharmacy records including customer profiles, insurance documentation, control records, and regulatory registries.

Oversee pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure efficient, accurate operations.
-
Support the Pharmacy Manager in addressing any concerns and maintaining store standards.

Implement pharmacy programs, including security measures, immunizations, and clinical services.

Stay current with industry regulations, trends, and best practices; ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

Promote the company’s loyalty and service programs while delivering a customer-centric experience.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field required; Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.

Minimum three years of pharmacy experience.

Active and valid Pharmacy License in the state of operation (required).

Immunization Certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and pharmacy law.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.

Leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a hands-on environment.

Ability to complete continuing education requirements and maintain a valid license.

Working knowledge of inventory management and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Bilingual skills are a plus, depending on the local community demographics.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Standing and walking for extended periods; frequent bending, twisting, and turning.

Exposure to a typical retail environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.

Some travel may be required based on assignment
