Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct pharmaceutical care, including compounding of nuclear medications and performing quality assurance testing (e.g., chromatography)

  • Oversee the accurate and timely distribution of medications with support from delivery drivers

  • Manage inventory, assess drug availability, and coordinate procurement to ensure an uninterrupted supply

  • Identify alternative medications when needed to mitigate supply chain risks

  • Optimize pharmacy workflows, staff scheduling, and overall operational efficiency

  • Support strategic initiatives to control costs, enhance productivity, and contribute to business growth

  • Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and vendors for effective demand planning

  • Perform administrative duties and maintain strong communication with customers and healthcare providers

  • Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) when needed

  • Deliver radiopharmaceutical doses when required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required

  • Must hold a current pharmacist license (or be in the process of obtaining one) in the state where the pharmacy operates

  • Willingness to travel to other pharmacy sites for coverage when needed

  • Familiarity with biohazardous waste protocols

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with both customers and healthcare professionals

  • Commitment to high-quality service and patient care
