Key Responsibilities

Provide direct pharmaceutical care, including compounding of nuclear medications and performing quality assurance testing (e.g., chromatography)

Oversee the accurate and timely distribution of medications with support from delivery drivers

Manage inventory, assess drug availability, and coordinate procurement to ensure an uninterrupted supply

Identify alternative medications when needed to mitigate supply chain risks

Optimize pharmacy workflows, staff scheduling, and overall operational efficiency

Support strategic initiatives to control costs, enhance productivity, and contribute to business growth

Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and vendors for effective demand planning

Perform administrative duties and maintain strong communication with customers and healthcare providers

Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) when needed
-
Deliver radiopharmaceutical doses when required
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
-
Must hold a current pharmacist license (or be in the process of obtaining one) in the state where the pharmacy operates
-
Willingness to travel to other pharmacy sites for coverage when needed

Familiarity with biohazardous waste protocols

Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with both customers and healthcare professionals
