Evening Inpatient Pharmacist (Adult/Peds) – Join Our Award-Winning Team!
Make a significant impact on patients’ lives every day at Cedars-Sinai, a Magnet-designated hospital consistently ranked #1 in California. As a full-time Evening Inpatient Pharmacist, you’ll be central to medication management, providing both clinical expertise and drug distribution services.
Schedule: 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM (flexible scheduling options available), 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends and occasional night coverage.
What You’ll Do: You’ll be responsible for the daily organization and oversight of medication management, ensuring optimal patient care through clinical services and accurate drug dispensing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
- Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency OR equivalent practice experience.
- Current California pharmacist license.
- BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, disease states, and patient management plans.
- Excellent skills in applying pharmacology and biopharmaceutical principles.
- Ability to gather and interpret patient information for care planning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to teach and precept.
- Proficient in drug preparation, recommendations, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Adaptability and strong prioritization skills.
- Ability to evaluate medication regimens and utilize automated information systems.
- Demonstrated competency in pharmaceutical calculations, compounding, and pharmacokinetics.
- Patient-centered communication and essential computer skills.
