Your Role and Impact

As a Pharmacist-in-Charge in Omnicell’s Specialty Pharmacy division, you’ll lead pharmacy operations while working at the top of your license. Your leadership will directly influence patient care, community health outcomes, and team development. You’ll be a vital part of a global leader dedicated to advancing medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized patient care and medication counseling with compassion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

  • Build strong relationships with local healthcare providers to ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.

  • Lead pharmacy operations, promoting continuous improvement and development of the pharmacy team.

  • Stay up-to-date on pharmacy regulations, emerging industry standards, and clinical knowledge—particularly in specialty areas such as autoimmune disorders, oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV.

  • Participate in innovative clinical and operational initiatives through Omnicell’s pharmacy leadership committees.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.

  • Valid and active New York State pharmacist license in good standing.

  • Completion of the New York State Board of Pharmacy licensing exam.

  • Current with all required continuing education.

  • A minimum of 3 years of pharmacy practice experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in pharmacy management.

  • At least 1 year working with patient management or specialty care programs.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Moderate physical activity required, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs throughout the workday.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, distinguish colors and shapes, and perform tasks that require visual acuity.

Compensation

  • Annual Salary (NY only): $140,000 – $160,000

  • Bonus Structure: Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses
    Compensation may vary based on experience and regional factors.
