Position Overview
As a Pharmacist with the New York State Office of Mental Health, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

HELPS Program Eligibility: Candidates outside of State service may qualify under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program. A valid New York State pharmacist license and current registration are required.

Eligible List Appointment: Candidates may be appointed from the existing competitive Pharmacist eligible list.

Transfer Opportunity: Current New York State employees may be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law, with at least one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a qualifying title.

The posted salary includes an $11,000 Geographic Pay Differential.

Maintaining an active New York State license and registration is required throughout employment.
