Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of drug distribution and participate in clinical activities.

Review and validate medication orders to ensure safe and effective use of medications.

Act as a resource for drug information for patients, healthcare professionals, and ancillary department staff.

Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals as needed for patient care.
Qualifications

Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of California (required).

One year of pharmacy experience, preferably in an institutional setting, or completion of a residency in institutional pharmacy practice, or a Pharm.D. degree (required).

Proficiency in English, both verbal and written communication (required).

Basic computer knowledge (preferred).

Familiarity with automated pharmacy systems, including electronic order entry, barcoding, and medication dispensing (preferred).

Knowledge of aseptic techniques and IV laminar flow hood usage (preferred).
Work Hours: Variable shifts, including morning, evening, or night shifts.
