Pharmacist – Per Diem

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will review and dispense prescriptions, provide medication counseling, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Review prescriptions, adjust dosages, counsel patients, and monitor drug interactions.
- Medication Management: Prepare, compound, and dispense medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain records, oversee controlled substances, and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Education & Supervision: Assist in training pharmacy interns, provide guidance to staff, and participate in educational programs.
Qualifications:
- Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy required.
- NYS Pharmacist License required.
- Strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Salary & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $78.62
- Additional compensation and benefits available based on hospital policies.
