Job Summary and Qualifications:

As a Pharmacist at Retreat Doctors’ Hospital, you will be responsible for compounding and dispensing medications for both inpatient and outpatient care. You will manage daily pharmacy operations, including overseeing Pharmacy Technicians and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and dispense medication orders accurately.

  • Maintain and evaluate the automated dispensing process.

  • Provide ongoing education and in-services to department employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school.

  • Current Virginia Pharmacist license through the Virginia Board of Health Professions.

  • Previous inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
