Job Summary

Responsible for accurately dispensing medications while ensuring patient education and safety. Manages daily pharmacy operations, communicates with prescribers, and provides patient-centered services such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Delivers exceptional customer service to all Price Chopper customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations.
  • Accurately prepare, dispense, and manage prescription medications.
  • Counsel patients and providers on drug usage, interactions, and side effects.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, provide training, and uphold company policies.
  • Participate in patient wellness programs, immunizations, and MTM services.
  • Engage in business development within the store and community.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Complete required continuing education and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
  • Immunization Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with pharmacy computer systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license (subject to monitoring).
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (5-year program).
  • Ability to manage staff and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
