The primary goal of this position is to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a Pharmacist while attending Pharmacy school, under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Responsibilities include:

Accepting customer and prescription information, including refills.

Filling prescriptions accurately.

Interacting with physicians and using reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues.

Learning and using Rite Aid’s computer system for customer and prescription data.

Assisting customers and operating the cash register.

Providing healthcare counseling and addressing medical-related questions.

Staying informed about over-the-counter medications.

Assisting with inventory, cycle counts, and quality assurance tasks.

Ensuring the Pharmacy is clean and organized.

Adhering to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Pay rate: $22.50/hour. Must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school and have a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
