As a Pharmacy Manager, you’ll serve as a leader within your store and your community. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring patient safety, and fostering a supportive team environment—all while helping people on their path to better health. Your impact extends beyond the counter to every interaction with patients, customers, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
As the licensed pharmacist in charge, you will oversee and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including:

Patient Care & Safety: Deliver high-quality care, advise on prescriptions, and manage chronic and specialty health conditions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulatory guidelines.

Operational Oversight: Manage daily workflow, inventory, quality assurance, loss prevention, and financial performance.

Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate your pharmacy team—delegating responsibilities to maximize individual strengths, close knowledge gaps, and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.

Customer Service: Build relationships with patients and caregivers by demonstrating genuine empathy, care, and professional guidance.

Business Growth: Identify opportunities to improve performance, implement solutions, and support new patient care programs.

Collaboration & Culture: Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere full of energy, pride, and purpose.
What You’ll Bring
-
Active pharmacy license in the state of employment
-
Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
-
Immunization certification through an accredited provider (e.g., APhA)
-
Listed on the pharmacy state license as the pharmacist in charge
-
Submission of required information to the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP), if applicable
-
Minimum of one year of experience as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy (CVS Health experience preferred)

Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

Willingness and ability to work at other CVS Pharmacy locations within the region as needed
Compensation
-
Pay Range: $65.00–$82.00 per hour

Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.

This role is also eligible for CVS Health’s incentive and bonus programs.
