About the Job

Position Summary (Rephrased):

The PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Emergency Medicine provides advanced, specialized training across multiple domains of pharmacy practice, including clinical services, inpatient care, education, research, drug policy development, and leadership. Under the close mentorship of experienced pharmacists, the resident will deepen their expertise and gain practical, hands-on experience designed to prepare them for independent, advanced-level practice. The program begins with a comprehensive, month-long orientation and includes regular evaluations following each rotation and requirement, as well as quarterly progress reviews throughout the year. Applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of intent outlining their professional goals.

Education Requirements:

  • PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy

  • Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency

Licensing Requirements:

  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts pharmacist license by the start date
