Education/Experience:

Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program
Computer Skills:

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients while fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients, in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation’s principles and guidelines. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, including screening and evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, managing discharge plans, supervising assistants and rehab techs, and overseeing case management. Your professional conduct will reflect Reliant’s commitment to exceptional service and quality care, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Enhance patient functionality and skills through physical therapy, directing and overseeing treatment as needed

Offer consultation and clinical supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs)

Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient use of resources and supporting their professional growth, in accordance with State Practice Acts, Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA), and Reliant Rehabilitation policies

Contribute to building and enhancing a strong physical therapy program

Develop your clinical expertise and management skills through interaction with colleagues, self-study, and continuing education

Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about issues affecting physical therapy and healthcare

Understand and apply relevant payment models, billing, and treatment guidelines, delivering quality care with realistic goals and outcomes

Comply with infection control and safety protocols within the facility
-
Proficiently read, write, speak, and comprehend English for instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
