Vail Health, formerly known as Vail Valley Medical Center, is a nonprofit, community-based healthcare system that proudly serves patients from both near and far. Locally managed and guided by a volunteer board of directors, Vail Health features a 56-bed hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. Our Vail-based Emergency Department operates 24/7 as a Level III Trauma Center and is equipped with a nearby helipad for urgent medical transport.
With a broad network of care locations, Vail Health offers services through the Beaver Creek Medical Center, urgent care clinics in Vail, Avon, and Eagle, and our medical campuses in Edwards, Eagle, and Dillon. Our Howard Head Sports Medicine program provides expert physical therapy at 10 locations, in close collaboration with world-class orthopedic providers at The Steadman Clinic and Vail-Summit Orthopaedics.
We’re also home to the region’s only fully accredited cancer and breast care centers: the Shaw Cancer Center and Sonnenalp Breast Center, delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to our community.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate, treat, and guide patients through customized orthopedic rehab programs

Apply evidence-based techniques for optimal recovery

Collaborate closely with physicians and renowned orthopedic surgeons

Educate patients and their families on exercises and recovery strategies

Play an active role in expanding our impact within the mountain community
What We’re Looking For
-
Licensed Physical Therapist in Colorado (or eligible via Compact Privilege)
-
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
-
Passion for orthopedics and helping people get back to the lifestyle they love

Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
-
Desire to grow professionally in a strong, supportive team
