Physical Therapist – Sanford, NC

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities split approximately 60% inpatient (acute care within the hospital) and 40% outpatient (clinic-based) during morning and afternoon shifts. The therapist will play a key role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative services to help patients regain function and prevent further disability due to injury, illness, or physical impairment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and appropriate timeframes.
Implement and adjust care plans as needed to support optimal patient outcomes.
Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and billing information in accordance with departmental and insurance guidelines.
Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Participate in departmental functions including budgeting, clinical quality initiatives, educational programs, infection control, safety compliance, and team-building efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current certification in Physical Therapy and a valid license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
