Physical Therapist – Sanford, NC

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities split approximately 60% inpatient (acute care within the hospital) and 40% outpatient (clinic-based) during morning and afternoon shifts. The therapist will play a key role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative services to help patients regain function and prevent further disability due to injury, illness, or physical impairment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and appropriate timeframes.

  • Implement and adjust care plans as needed to support optimal patient outcomes.

  • Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and billing information in accordance with departmental and insurance guidelines.

  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

  • Participate in departmental functions including budgeting, clinical quality initiatives, educational programs, infection control, safety compliance, and team-building efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

  • Current certification in Physical Therapy and a valid license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
