What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapist Aide, you will work under the guidance of therapists to help patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting therapists with treatment procedures in accordance with clinic policies and state practice act guidelines

Setting up, preparing, and maintaining treatment areas and equipment to ensure readiness for patient care

Positioning patients properly and courteously during treatment procedures as directed by therapists

Observing and reporting any significant changes in a patient’s condition to the therapist immediately

Maintaining a clean and safe clinic environment, including treatment tables, mats, exercise equipment, and linens
-
Monitoring and cleaning hydrocollator equipment according to infection control policies

Performing administrative duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients upon arrival

Assisting with maintaining accurate patient medical records and supporting therapists in documentation

Supporting the Clinic Manager and therapy team in delivering excellent patient satisfaction and engagement
This is a hands-on role that combines clinical support with patient interaction and administrative responsibilities, making it a well-rounded entry point into the physical therapy profession.
