Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our clinical team and provide exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. In this role, you will plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for individuals recovering from injuries or managing conditions affecting muscles, nerves, joints, and bones.
Your day will begin by reviewing physician referrals and patient records to assess needs and design personalized therapy programs. Using your expertise, you will evaluate patient strength, motor development, functional abilities, and overall capacity to create evidence-based treatment plans. From guiding patients through manual and therapeutic exercises to training them in daily-living activities and the use of assistive devices, you will help restore independence and improve quality of life.
You will also apply advanced therapeutic techniques such as hydrotherapy, ultrasound, massage, and traction, continually assessing progress and adjusting care plans to maximize results. Patient and family education is a central part of this role, ensuring continuity of care at home. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers is essential, as is accurate and timely documentation of treatments and outcomes in the medical record.
Beyond patient care, you may supervise and mentor therapy assistants, students, and aides, as well as contribute to community health education, professional training, or clinical research. This position offers the opportunity to influence both patient outcomes and the growth of the profession.
