Key Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist Technician:

  • Prepare and sanitize treatment areas for patients

  • Assist in setting up and understanding the use of rehab equipment such as stationary bikes, pulley systems, resistance tools, and mobilization tables

  • Set up hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin baths, and hot packs

  • Help patients remove and reapply braces, slings, and splints as needed

  • Support physical therapists and assistants with patient ambulation and gait training

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and support a patient-first approach
