Key Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist Technician:

Prepare and sanitize treatment areas for patients
Assist in setting up and understanding the use of rehab equipment such as stationary bikes, pulley systems, resistance tools, and mobilization tables
Set up hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin baths, and hot packs
Help patients remove and reapply braces, slings, and splints as needed
Support physical therapists and assistants with patient ambulation and gait training
Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to learn and support a patient-first approach
