Position Overview
Join a well-established and collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians within the Bassett Medical Group—a multispecialty practice of more than 500 providers. This outpatient-only position includes shared remote call (1:6) and a dedicated inpatient oncologist for hospital-based care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology services in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

  • Collaborate closely with a team including Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, Nutritionists, and Palliative Care Practitioners.

  • Participate in weekly tumor board conferences and contribute to an active clinical research program.

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to continuous program development.

Schedule and Call

  • Outpatient only

  • 1:6 remote call rotation

  • 4-day workweek structure

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base Salary Range: $600,000–$675,000 (based on a 4-day workweek), determined by qualifications, experience, licensure, training, and fair market valuation.

  • Unlimited Incentive Plan: Productivity and performance-based incentives with significant earning potential, often achievable within the first year.

  • Sign-on Bonus: Up to $200,000

  • Fellowship Stipend: Up to $60,000 for eligible candidates up to 18 months prior to graduation (subject to U.S. immigration regulations)

  • Employment Model: Group-employed

  • Visa Sponsorship: J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or MBBS degree

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology

  • New York State medical license (or eligibility)

  • Active DEA registration

  • BLS certification
