Physician – Wake County Health & Human Services
About the Role
Wake County Health & Human Services is seeking a dedicated Physician to provide high-quality care at our Regional Centers and Public Health Clinic in Raleigh. This role includes preventive care, child health, family planning, prenatal services, STD testing, and acute illness management. Responsibilities also include supervising Advanced Practice Practitioners, performing procedures, and supporting mental health teams. Physicians participate in an on-call rotation but do not provide in-person care after clinic hours.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Medicine with completion of residency

NC Medical Board licensure and DEA registration

Minimum three years of experience

Preferred: Over one year of experience as an FNP or PA specializing in OB/GYN or pediatrics

Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills
