Process Analyst – Supply Chain

About the Role
As a Process Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing Volvo Cars’ supply chain, ensuring the right parts are delivered in the right packaging, at the right time, and place. You will be responsible for managing supply chain flows, supporting production teams, and driving process improvements. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize internal and external supply chain processes to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Support Material Handling and Supply Chain Engineering teams in process design and efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct data analysis to enhance logistics operations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Create and maintain visual management tools, training documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with Volvo Cars’ safety and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), data entry, logistics software (BMS, CHIMAS, VSIM, Power BI)
  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, leadership, adaptability, and communication skills
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 33 lbs., stand for long periods, and travel internationally (up to 4 weeks)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, or process improvement
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment

Salary Grade: H4 – $31.50/hour
