Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems that support FDA-regulated facilities. This includes working with a wide range of piping systems, fixtures, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety, health, and building standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and building specifications to determine pipe layouts

  • Install pipes, fixtures, valves, and supports for water, gas, steam, and other liquids

  • Assemble fittings and modify pipes or fixtures as needed

  • Install heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters

  • Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other trades

  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and performance issues

  • Diagnose problems and select proper tools/materials for repair

  • Prepare documentation and reports of work performed

  • Conduct plumbing system inspections and replace worn parts

  • Oversee and mentor apprentices or helpers as required

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Diploma or certification in Plumbing from a technical college

  • Valid plumbing license (State Board of Examiners or state/local government license required)

  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and building codes

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
