Plumber / Heating Fitter – Key Responsibilities

Your Role in the Building Services Team

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and servicing of public buildings.

  • Work independently or as part of a team on plumbing and heating systems.

  • Handle gas-related pipework as instructed by supervisors.

  • Ensure health and safety standards are met in all projects.

Skills & Experience Needed for a Plumber / Heating Fitter

  • Time-served Plumber / Heating Fitter with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification.

  • Experience in the building and construction industry.

  • Knowledge of public building maintenance and customer expectations.

  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
