Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
Special Requirements

Must possess a Certificate of Competency issued by the Board of Plumbing Examiners of the City of Rochester, New York at the time of appointment and maintain it throughout employment.

Must obtain a New York State Basic Code Enforcement Training Certification for building and property inspectors within 18 months of appointment (training provided by the City of Rochester).

Must have a valid NYS Class D Driver’s License at the time of appointment and maintain it throughout employment.

Must have access to a motor vehicle for daily use at the time of appointment and throughout employment
