About the Job
We are seeking a Police Engagement Officer to join our Network Claims team within Business Services. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with police forces, public bodies, and internal stakeholders to obtain crucial information about drivers responsible for damage to the network. This information will be used to establish liability and recover costs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating across regions and multiple agencies to facilitate effective information sharing.
- Developing strong partnerships with regional police forces to identify drivers responsible for Strategic Road Network (SRN) damage.
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection legislation to safeguard sensitive and personal information.
- Working closely with Network Claims teams, providing relevant details to support claims processing.
- Acting as a professional and courteous point of contact, responding to inquiries and offering guidance to the wider business.
- Maintaining accurate records of investigations to provide visibility to claims handlers.

- Experience in investigating road traffic collisions.
