Position Summary:

Sam’s Club is seeking a Pharmacy Intern who is currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting by supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy. You’ll assist licensed pharmacists in delivering safe, efficient, and compliant pharmaceutical care while providing excellent service to our members. This is an opportunity to build skills, contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment, and begin your journey toward becoming a licensed pharmacist.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support pharmacists in processing prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) orders in compliance with state and federal laws.

  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, organizing supplies, and maintaining inventory control.

  • Operate pharmacy systems, including processing sales transactions at the register.

  • Complete, maintain, and secure necessary documentation, logs, and records.

  • Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service to members by identifying their needs and offering pharmacy solutions.

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment.

  • Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and safeguard sensitive health information.

  • Participate in merchandise presentation, including stocking, rotating, pricing, and signage.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification (if applicable)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage Range: $18.00 – $28.00 (Based on experience, qualifications, and location)

  • Additional premiums may apply (ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, duties, or facility).
