Preload Part-Time Supervisor

About the Role

Are you a strong leader with a passion for logistics and operational excellence? As a Preload Part-Time Supervisor at UPS, you’ll be responsible for training and supervising a team of Package Handlers and Clerks to ensure safety, productivity, and efficiency during preload operations. This role plays a key part in delivering the legendary UPS service experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise employees on safety procedures, productivity standards, and job tasks

  • Monitor team attendance and manage timecards

  • Facilitate onboarding and continued training for employees

  • Lead team meetings and coordinate performance evaluations

  • Ensure safe and timely execution of all package handling duties

  • Build strong working relationships with employees, managers, and customers

  • Maintain and promote UPS’s ethical standards and code of conduct


Required Qualifications for Preload Part-Time Supervisor

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kgs)

  • Flexibility to work various shift hours (up to 5 days/week)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

  • Comfortable working in a high-paced warehouse environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent

  • Previous management or supervisory experience
