Our prep cook are members of Local 2. Scheduling is by position seniority with shifts assigned based on operational needs. Candidates must have availability to work flexible schedules including day times, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Shift availability:
- Night Shift (Preferred) Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3 pm to 11 pm

Duties
– Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
– Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of the executive chef
– Maintain a clean and orderly pantry area
– Follow food safety standards and guidelines
– Assist with menu planning and contribute to creative dish ideas
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
– Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
– Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
– Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Experience in catering or dietary aide roles is a plus
