Guidepost Montessori at Bee Cave is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher (Children’s House Guide) to lead a mixed-age classroom of children ages 3–6 in a Montessori environment. As a lead educator, you’ll help cultivate independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in each child. Whether you’re an experienced Montessori teacher or an early childhood educator ready to transition into a more intentional, child-centered approach, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a mixed-age classroom of 3–6-year-olds using Montessori principles and curriculum

Prepare a beautiful, orderly, and developmentally appropriate environment

Observe each child’s growth and tailor lessons to meet individual needs

Foster independence, focus, and confidence through hands-on, practical experiences

Provide individualized instruction in areas like literacy, math, science, and practical life skills

Maintain consistent, respectful communication with parents and guardians

Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to build a strong school community

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Required:

Must have experience working with preschool-aged children (3–6 years)

Strong communication, observation, and classroom management skills

Passion for early childhood education and respect for child-led learning

Willingness to learn the Montessori method and undergo certification
Preferred:

Montessori Diploma (AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited program)

Familiarity with Montessori or similar approaches (e.g., Reggio Emilia)
