Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children.

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

Supervise children during daily activities to ensure their safety.

Observe, evaluate, and document each child’s developmental progress.

Build and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.

Maintain program spaces, equipment, and learning materials.
-
Participate in family nights, staff meetings, and program events.

Adhere to state guidelines, childcare regulations, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
-
CDA, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

1–2 years experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.

CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.

Strong knowledge of child development principles and best educational practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Dependable, adaptable, and able to work with diverse populations.
Physical Requirements

Ability to plan, lead, and actively participate in activities.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. for child safety or emergencies.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle stressful situations professionally.
