Opportunity Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Provider (ARNP or PA-C) to deliver essential care within a psychiatric inpatient setting. This unique position blends the art of medicine with the reward of serving an often-overlooked population, providing primary care services in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do

Provide in-person primary care to patients at our freestanding psychiatric hospital during standard business hours

Manage 1–2 new patient admissions and handle 3–4 acute care visits per day

Perform basic procedures including wound care and suture removal

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatric providers, nurses, social workers, and mental health professionals

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Active ARNP or PA-C licensure in Washington State

Background in family medicine, internal medicine, primary care, or psychiatry preferred

A strong interest in working with patients in behavioral health settings

DEA registration, NPI, prescriptive authority, and current BLS certification
-
Valid Washington State driver’s license
Schedule & Setting

Per diem position with emphasis on weekend coverage (some weekdays possible)

Inpatient psychiatric setting with manageable daily volumes

Outpatient-level care expectations with minimal procedures
