About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to join a warm and welcoming Westminster primary school from September 2025. This exciting full-time opportunity involves teaching across two key early phases — with mornings spent in Nursery/Reception and afternoons leading a Year 1 class.

This split-role position offers a unique chance to work across both the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) — ideal for a teacher who thrives on variety and has a deep passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons to both EYFS and Year 1 pupils

  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with school and curriculum guidelines

  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can flourish

  • Collaborate closely with EYFS and KS1 teams to ensure curriculum consistency and continuity of care

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning

  • Maintain clear communication with parents and carers regarding progress and classroom activities

About You

We are looking for a Primary Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Has strong knowledge of both EYFS and KS1 frameworks

  • Demonstrates a calm, positive approach to classroom management

  • Has previous experience teaching in Nursery/Reception and/or Year 1 (highly desirable)

  • Is confident working as part of a collaborative team

  • Is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Why Apply?

  • Gain experience across two distinct early years teaching phases

  • Join a supportive and inclusive Westminster school

  • Develop your skills through collaboration with experienced teams

  • Opportunity for longer-term placement or future career development
