About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to join a warm and welcoming Westminster primary school from September 2025. This exciting full-time opportunity involves teaching across two key early phases — with mornings spent in Nursery/Reception and afternoons leading a Year 1 class.
This split-role position offers a unique chance to work across both the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) — ideal for a teacher who thrives on variety and has a deep passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons to both EYFS and Year 1 pupils

Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with school and curriculum guidelines

Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can flourish

Collaborate closely with EYFS and KS1 teams to ensure curriculum consistency and continuity of care

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning

Maintain clear communication with parents and carers regarding progress and classroom activities
About You
We are looking for a Primary Teacher who:

Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Has strong knowledge of both EYFS and KS1 frameworks

Demonstrates a calm, positive approach to classroom management

Has previous experience teaching in Nursery/Reception and/or Year 1 (highly desirable)

Is confident working as part of a collaborative team
