What You’ll Do at Avant:

Design, develop, and deploy infrastructure solutions utilizing modern cloud technologies such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.

Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline the provisioning, deployment, and management of infrastructure and services.

Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to create scalable, resilient architectures for applications and services.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization

Skilled in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, Vault, Ansible, and Spacelift.

Experience supporting a variety of data persistence technologies, including relational and non-relational databases, message buses, and caching services.

Familiarity with developing CI/CD workflows and GitHub Actions.

Experience migrating services and workflows across different platforms.

Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms — we leverage Datadog and Sentry.

Familiarity with data engineering tools like Databricks and orchestration tools like Airflow.

Solid foundation in networking, security best practices, and containerization technologies.
Compensation:

Base salary range: $130,000 – $190,000 per year

New hires typically start below the midpoint of the range, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Outstanding candidates may be considered for other levels, which could carry a different compensation range.
