Job Overview
GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a recognized leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking an experienced Professional Fee (Pro-Fee) Hospital Coder with strong multispecialty E/M and surgery coding expertise. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring accuracy and compliance in professional service coding across multiple hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately code E/M, surgery, CPT, diagnoses, and modifiers for inpatient and outpatient professional services.

Resolve coding-related edits using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, and modifiers.

Perform coding across multiple hospital settings, including:

Hospital emergency departments

Hospital observations
-
Hospital outpatient and medical offices

Hospital inpatient services

Ensure compliance with internal and external coding standards.

Maintain a coding accuracy score of 95% or higher.
Specialty Areas
Experience in multiple specialties is required, including:
OB, Cardiology, Urology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Evaluation & Management (E/M), and Inpatient/Outpatient hospital rounding.
Qualifications

Certification: Must hold AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA credential.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional fee hospital coding (both inpatient and outpatient).

Assessment: Must successfully complete a pro-fee coding assessment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, VPN, and other digital tools.

Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), remote position.

All hours must be worked between 6 AM – 6 PM PST (9 AM – 9 PM EST).
