Role Overview
Farmers Insurance is seeking a Product Analyst I to support personal lines insurance programs through data-driven insights and analysis. This early-career role offers an excellent opportunity to learn insurance product strategy, pricing, and regulatory compliance while supporting new product introductions and product maintenance.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain communication with State Offices and Personal Lines Marketing to support product development.

Analyze, research, and create new personal lines insurance products.

Coordinate development and implementation of new products with cross-functional teams.

Prepare and publish procedure bulletins, field bulletins, and marketing kits.

Verify proper implementation of new products across systems and regions.
-
Extract, prepare, and reconcile data from multiple sources.

Build rate calculations to determine premiums and assess rate impacts.

Develop documentation and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.
-
Track and evaluate key business metrics to identify growth opportunities.

Contribute to process improvement and data quality initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product changes and implementations.

Learn best practices in insurance product management, pricing, and compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
-
Internship experience in a Product or analytical team is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and comfort with data tools like SQL, PowerBI, SAS preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams.
Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical / Environmental Factors

Office-based work with occasional exposure to outside conditions.
