About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Development Manager to lead our end-to-end product development process—from concept to launch. This role is key to identifying market trends, leveraging consumer insights, and introducing innovative products that meet customer needs and elevate our brand in the fragrance and lifestyle market.

The ideal candidate will combine creative product vision with strong operational and analytical skills. You’ll manage product ideation, prototyping, testing, and go-to-market strategies, while ensuring ongoing quality, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Product Development

  • Lead market research and analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the fragrance and lifestyle product landscape.

  • Ensure new product pipelines are innovative, differentiated, and strategically aligned with the brand.

  • Develop and maintain a 12+ month product development calendar.

New Product Lifecycle Management

  • Own the research, design, testing, and refinement of new products.

  • Source and onboard new suppliers and materials.

  • Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain accurate records in inventory systems.

  • Build digital mockups and physical prototypes, including designing print-ready labels.

  • Ensure seamless cross-departmental coordination of product launches.

  • Conduct post-launch debriefs to review success metrics and process improvements.

Project Management

  • Ensure timely execution of product timelines, cross-functional responsibilities, and SOP documentation.

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and Sales teams throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Manage multiple product verticals including private label and shipping solutions.

Quality Assurance

  • Continuously test and validate products for consistency, performance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with Production to ensure all products meet spec and BOM standards.

  • Troubleshoot recurring quality or customer feedback issues.

Catalog & Private Label Oversight

  • Maintain internal and customer-facing product catalogs in collaboration with Marketing.

  • Coordinate with designers and printers for updated assets.

  • Manage private label initiatives from concept through production and account development.

Shipping & Supplier Development

  • Partner with the Purchasing Manager to improve shipping packaging and reduce breakage.

  • Create inventory entries and support the setup of new supply chain partners.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project or product management, preferably in consumer goods or fragrance.

  • Proficient in data analysis and market research.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs.

  • Design proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and continuous improvement mentality.
