Primary Purpose of the Role
As North American Product Manager, Sheetfed Packaging (SFP), you will play a pivotal role in driving product implementation, supporting new product development, and managing cost optimization initiatives across the packaging industry. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong cross-functional leadership, and expertise in master data and branding compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Drive implementation of SFP and PB toolboxes across North America.

Maintain branding and master data integrity, ensuring compliance with AquaCode and SFP guidelines.

Support new product development projects during ideation and launch phases.

Lead cost-take-out initiatives, overseeing phase-in/phase-out projects within the Management of Change framework.

Coordinate and manage SFP and PB product portfolios, including branding and master data.

Support regional teams with product selection processes for customer projects, pipeline opportunities, and tender bids.

Establish best practices in ERP/IT systems for BOM management, SKU creation/reactivation, and portfolio transitions.

Ensure regional growth strategies align with the global toolbox through product recommendation collateral.

Act as the voice of the customer in the ideation stage of innovation.

Collaborate with procurement to drive alternative sourcing and cost-saving initiatives.

Ensure compliance with Flint Group Mission, Guiding Principles, and business ethics.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of inks, coatings, and packaging ink product classification rules.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in product formulations and/or printing technologies for packaging.

Solid commercial and financial acumen.

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Advanced skills in SAP (material master data, product recipes, sales evaluation).

Experience with Qlik/CRM systems.

Strong communication skills (written and spoken English).

Ability to create clear, effective product/project documentation.

Self-directed, motivated, and assertive professional with excellent organizational skills.

Comfortable working in a complex, dynamic environment.

High computer literacy and ability to work with multiple digital tools.
