Role Overview

This role focuses on upstream marketing for the Global Hip Portfolio, with responsibility for the full product lifecycle. You’ll integrate customer insights, market trends, and strategic business direction to guide product growth. Cross-functional leadership will be key as you develop, launch, and sustain innovative, competitive orthopedic products.

Key Responsibilities

General Product Management

  • Define product strategy and oversee execution from concept to commercialization.

  • Lead cross-functional teams on product initiatives.

  • Own product P&L and performance metrics.

  • Conduct market analysis to guide strategic decisions.

  • Partner with sales and marketing to drive product adoption.

  • Manage lifecycle transitions, including enhancements and retirements.

Upstream Marketing

  • Identify unmet customer needs and translate them into requirements.

  • Lead market research and competitive analysis.

  • Develop business cases for new product opportunities.

  • Drive the product roadmap and innovation pipeline.

  • Ensure alignment with overall corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience, OR

    • Associate’s degree + 6 years of relevant experience, OR

    • High school diploma/equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Preferred:

    • 6+ years of relevant work experience.

    • Marketing experience in orthopedic product lines.
